Boots in Spring

So it’s officially Spring! I wanted to continue to wear my thigh high boots (Aldo) but at the same time not suffocate myself to death. Florida is known for it’s harsh humidity, and wearing jeans with these boots is most definitely not the way to go. :)

It was a bold decision to wear a flannel as well, but there are limitations to how I dress. I’m only 16, no one needs to see my booty. When I say it was hot under this flannel, believe me! I was tempted to just take it off and tie it around my waist. Which wouldn’t have ruined the outfit, and maybe would’ve presented a different style approach. The vintage Medium Men’s Ralph Lauren Flannel (on top of a thin white Zara T-shirt) was folded up under my elbow, displaying a gold Fossil watch on my left wrist, a green Vince Camuto and gold Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelets on my right.

I’m not a hand bag type of girl. Get me backpack or shoulder bag (maybe a fanny pack) and I’m perfectly content. I got this white leather studded backpack from Urban Outfitters for school, but the drawstring came out, so now it’s just an accessory.

My sister and I decided to hit up the Prime Outlets to visit the all-amazing store – American Apparel. She was trying to find a bodysuit for her birthday dinner outfit, which gave me perfectly good reason to try on this sweater that I’ve been eyeing for a while now. I love the size, the fix, the texture, and the color. I believe it’s worth the investment, but my parents think other wise. If I want it bad enough, I’ll take the time to save up for it.
